I AM A SURVIVOR OF EWING SARCOMA AND WAS GIVEN A 50/50 CHANCE NOT ONLY OF LIVING BUT OF WALKING ALSO.
I heard your story when you were playing college ball and going through your cancer treatments. I instantly knew exactly what you went through. I still have a lot of health problems that I must deal with on a daily basis because my cancer was so bad and wrapped around so many nerves on my spine. I had to go through 9 months of brutal chemo and the max amount of radiation which saved my life but also ended up damaging a lot of the good cells. I am a fighter and fight to stay positive and to discover my place in this world everyday. When I was diagnosed I was told this was a male pediatric cancer. You are an inspiration to me. I was 22 when diagnosed and just turned 34. I have a pain pump that was implanted several years ago. It has been wonderful and has kept me from having to take so many pain meds. I always saw myself married with kids at a young age but for some reason that is not what happened. I try to make sense of being 34 with so many health problems living in a house behind my parents house. CANCER DOES SUCK! This is my motto!!! I would love to hear from you! You are an inspiration. Thanks so much for sharing your story! Rooting you on tonight!!!
