MARK IMPRESSES AT THE COMBINE PODIUM

Mark Herzlich took the podium today in Indy and looked great. He fielded cancer and football questions with confidence and had a great dialogue with the press. Mark discussed in detail the NFL Combine process including the medical evaluations and team interviews. Mark said that he’s looking forward to getting to the physical stuff tomorrow.

Our 12 year old son was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma PNET of the spine in Jan 2011. I have been searching for inspirational stories from those with the same type of cancer or someone just to connect with who has gone through or is going through this. He is an aggressive, strong and determined outside linebacker, as well as an excellent hockey player, playing at center. His goal is to be back on the ice and field in 2012 but has 7-8 months of chemo and radiation ahead of him. I will show him your facebook page and blog and believe that as he follows your story he will gain inspiration as well as motivation. Thank you for putting yourself out there!
