Mark – I cannot tell you how inspiring this video is. I am sending my son the link right after I post this comment. My son Marco is in CHOP in Philly after being diagnosed with leukemia on 6/13/2010. He is going to be a senior at Neshaminy High School and he had just made Captain of the football team. We had to rush him to the hospital as he could not breath – The tumor in his chest had grown around his larnyx. He is getting chemo via picline and spinals. He is determined to get back on the field to help his teamates. The doctors told us that he could not play this season. He is devastated more about the season than the cancer. He gets up every day and works out on his mat and he had his bad moments as well as good. I have so many questions I wish I could ask you. There are no athletes with leukemia at the hospital for us to talk to. Any website an athlete can go to get help with cancer? Best of luck to you – I am very proud of you!
