Last week Heather Dinich posted her Top 30 players in the ACC and although Herzlich was not on the list, due to his battle with Ewing’s Sarcoma, Heather Dinich states that a healthy Herzlich would have filled the “top two spots”, by himself. And we at Herznation agree.

Mark completed his second round of chemotherapy last week and doctors say that everything is going according to their plan. Doctors want to see how the next rounds of chemo attack the tumor before they pick a date for surgery, but that should be decided within the next month.

It is hard to believe that it was only 25 days ago that Mark Herzlich was diagnosed with cancer. His announcement rocked the football world and brought together a nation. With the swift action of his family and doctors, Mark was able to start chemotherapy only 7 days after his diagnosis. A truly amazing feat.
